Dismas House of Indiana, is a residential re-entry program for men and women returning from incarceration. Dismas House is not a boarding house; it is a program that can have a positive impact on your life if you are willing to do the work. You must be able to live in the house, obey the rules, and actively participate in Dismas House programs.
Through interaction with returning citizens students gain skills that can be later adapted and incorporated in their studies and careers. They gain a better insight on societal problems and how they can help to solve them. Because students are less judgmental they interact comfortably.

Our home was founded in 1986 to provide transitional housing and support services to men and women who have been recently released from incarceration. We offer a variety of programs to assist our residents in their transition back into society.
